Seth A. Davis

Seth A. Davis is the VP, Corporate Services at RLI. Seth has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Seth started their career in 1994 as an Auditor at First Chicago. Seth then moved to State Farm in 1995 where they worked as an underwriter for five years. In 2000, they joined CNA as a Manager and developed and executed an audit plan for the Surety and Excess and Surplus Lines Divisions. Seth also led various audits including Argentina workers compensation operations and was responsible for tracking World Trade Center reinsurance recoverables. Seth implemented a pilot for Sox assessment in CNARe and was the project manager for the divestiture of CNA Life of Canada and CNA Vida de Chile.

In their current role at RLI, Seth is responsible for leading a team of professionals that provide support services to all lines of business including Claims, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, and Facilities.

Seth A. Davis has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a B.S. in Finance/Accounting from Illinois State University, and a High School Diploma from Escola Graduada de Sao Paulo. Seth also has certification from (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional, from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in Certified Fraud Examiner, from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional, and from AICPCU in Associate in Marine and Inland Marine (AMIM), Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI), Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF), Associates in Claims, Associates in Reinsurance, and Associates in Underwriting.

They are on a team with and Betsy K. Mclaughlin - VP & Chief Claim Counsel. Seth A. Davis reports to Jeffrey D. Fick, SVP & Chief Legal Officer & Secretary.
