Michael Potter

Michael Potter has a work experience of serving as the Principal at Align Finance Partners, a private commercial real estate finance company, since June 2017. During their tenure, they are responsible for providing innovative subordinate gap financing for affordable housing communities in the Western U.S. Before that, they worked as the Managing Director at RMA, Inc., a private real estate investment management firm, where they managed over $1 billion in investments in various property types across the United States.

Michael Potter received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Business, and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at USC Gould School of Law, where they attended from 1987 to 1990.
