James Arkell is currently the Head of Powertrain at RML Group, a role they have held since 2021. Previously, they served as the Head of Programmes at Delta Cosworth for a brief period in 2021, and as a Senior Engineering Programme Manager at Delta Motorsport from 2017 to 2021. James also has experience as a Race Engineer and No.1 Mechanic for Red and Black Racing, achieving notable race wins in club Formula Ford competitions. They led the Electric Formula Student team at Oxford Brookes University and hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Motorsport Engineering with First Class Honours from the same institution.
