Alkarim Devani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community redevelopment and real estate. As the Co-founder and CEO of mddl since March 2024, Alkarim leads a citizen-led platform focused on enabling middle housing developments in Canadian neighborhoods. Alkarim also co-founded RNDSQR in January 2016, which emphasizes thoughtful place-making in urban design. Additionally, Alkarim serves as a Board Member for Calgary Housing Company, overseeing rental programs for thousands of households.
