Val Humphries has a diverse professional background, starting as a Telephonist at Barclays from March 1986 to July 1995. Following this, Val took on various roles at the RNIB from July 1995 to May 2010, including Outreach Co-ordinator, Divisional Support Officer, Operations Manager (Talk and Support), and Employment Development Officer focused on employee engagement. Currently, Val serves as a Volunteering Skills Development Manager, supporting volunteer training and development while pursuing a professional coaching qualification. Val holds a Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Studies from Birmingham City University, completed between 2011 and 2013.
