Ralph Holme has extensive experience in biomedical research and leadership in organizations focused on hearing loss and tinnitus. Currently serving as the Director of Research at RNID since January 2018, Ralph Holme is part of the Senior Leadership team, overseeing the charity’s Research Programme and advocating for cross-sector collaboration to enhance treatment development. Previously, Ralph Holme held various roles at Action on Hearing Loss from February 2003 to January 2018, including Director of Research, where responsibilities included managing biomedical research initiatives and fostering international partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. Ralph Holme's career began at the Medical Research Council, where investigations into the genetic basis of deafness were conducted. Ralph Holme holds a PhD in Developmental Genetics from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by an undergraduate degree from Durham University.
