Alex Hill has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Senior Maritime Operations Officer and SAR Mission Coordinator with HM Coastguard since February 2018. Responsibilities include overseeing Coastguard operations within the UK and internationally, managing operations teams at regional Maritime Rescue Coordination Centers, and ensuring the effectiveness of search and rescue missions. Additionally, Alex has held various roles at the RNLI since November 2014, including Lifeboat Helm and Shore Crew, and currently works as a Beach Warden for Cyngor Gwynedd Council, focusing on beach safety and emergency response. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Harbour Master with Cyngor Gwynedd Council.
