Daniel Parker

Daniel Parker is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering. Currently serving as the Lead IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer at RNLI since July 2019, Daniel leads a team supporting 400 servers and has successfully redesigned backup systems to enhance operational efficiency. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Senior Infrastructure Engineer with responsibilities such as upgrading domain controllers and conducting Active Directory audits, as well as a Technical Specialist at Kingfisher IT Services, where Daniel provided advanced support and managed a SIEM enhancement project. Additionally, Daniel spent over 15 years at DP World as a Systems Engineer, delivering critical IT support in high-pressure environments, and began his career at NHS New Forest Primary Care Trust as a PC Support Technician. Daniel holds an MSc and BSc in Business Information Technology from Solent University and Southampton Institute, respectively.
