Darren Crew

Darren Crew is an accomplished copy editor, conceptual copywriter, and story scout currently working at RNLI since March 2021, where efforts contributed to a shortlist nomination for the Inside Out Awards for Best In-House Creative Agency of the Year. Previously, as the founder of Rumble & Thunder from March 2019 to March 2021, Darren launched audio scriptwriting and branding projects, including significant work for Siemens and the animal charity IAPWA. At Sky, Darren served as Head of Copy from January 2016 to March 2019, establishing a new copy department and rolling out the brand's tone of voice. Earlier roles include Head of Copy at We Love Digital, working on digital communications for Sony Mobile, and Senior Creative at scribbleCrew Ltd, where projects included interactive apps for Mercedes and digital advertising for Mini. Darren began professional experience as a Senior Copywriter at Grey in Barcelona, contributing to global campaigns for SEAT, recognized at the New York Festivals.
