Dave Riley

Dave Riley has served as the Senior Press Officer for the RNLI since November 2004, with responsibilities including managing media relations, safeguarding the organization's reputation, and enhancing public awareness of its lifesaving initiatives. Riley's roles within the RNLI have included National Media Officer and Public Relations Officer, where engaging with media and building relationships with journalists were key tasks. Additionally, Riley has a background as a Duty Officer and a Lifeboat Trainer, providing essential support in operational and training capacities. Prior experience includes a position as Lock Keeper at Sovereign Harbour and YTS Marina Trainee. Riley holds multiple CIPR qualifications and an Advanced Certificate in Public Relations.
