Gary H.

Gary H. has extensive experience in maritime education and engineering, currently serving as Technical Manager at RNLI since September 2018. Prior roles include Machinery Trainer at RNLI College, where Gary taught a variety of courses, and Head of Marine Technologies Department at Brockenhurst College, where Gary established the department on a strict budget and recruited apprentices. Gary’s earlier experience includes positions as Curriculum Team Leader at City College Southampton, Naval Architect at Becker Marine Systems GmbH, and Design Engineer at Sunseeker International Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Design from Brunel University, diplomas in Boatyard and Marina Operations and Marine Surveying, and a PGCE in Teacher Education from the University of Greenwich, along with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies from Solent University.
