Ian Venner has extensive experience in both the maritime and financial sectors. As a Member of the Council for Ireland and volunteer helmsman at the RNLI since 2000, Ian played a key role in establishing the RNLI Lifeboat Station in Crosshaven. Concurrently, Ian has been a Partner at EY since 1995, specializing in audit and advisory services, particularly within the Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Cleantech sectors. Previous roles at EY include Audit Senior Manager/Director, where complex audit projects were managed, and earlier positions in IT audit and advisory. Additionally, Ian served as Chairman for Cork Week in 2006, coordinating one of Europe's leading sailing regattas. Ian holds educational qualifications from Munster Technological University and Coláiste Muire.
