John Burke

John Burke has an extensive background in institutional business and investment consultancy. Currently serving as a Council Member and Investment Committee Member at RNLI since November 2012, John previously held the position of Head of Institutional Business at Royal London Asset Management from September 2015 to December 2024, overseeing client service, sales, and intermediary relationships. John also spent 15 years at Newton Investment Management as Head of Institutional Business Development, focusing on business development across the UK, Dutch, and Nordic markets while training others in communication and presentation techniques. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Investment Consultant at Xafinity, advising institutional pension funds on investment strategies and performance monitoring. John holds a BA Hons in Accountancy and Financial Management from the University of the West of England and attended the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe.
