John Galbraith

John Galbraith is an experienced legal professional specializing in employment law and litigation, currently serving as Litigation and Employment Senior Counsel at RNLI since December 2015. In this role, John provides comprehensive legal advice for both employees and volunteers, manages Coronial investigations, and oversees whistleblowing reports while balancing commerciality and the Charity's values. Previously, John held the position of Managing Director at Elliott Advocacy, a consumer advocacy nonprofit, and served as Research Director and Solicitor/Senior Solicitor for Warwickshire Legal Services, advising a wide range of clients including public sector organizations. John began legal training as a Trainee Solicitor at Warwickshire County Council after a career in employment law management at WHSmith. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from De Montfort University and the University of Portsmouth, respectively.
