Jonathan Marr

Jonathan Marr has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Mate and Agency Officer of the Watch at Svitzer since July 2021. Previously, Jonathan contributed over two decades to the RNLI as a Volunteer Crew Member in various capacities including Coxswain and Navigator. Other roles include 3rd Officer/Coxswain at Østensjø Rederi for a short duration, and 1st Officer/DPO at V.Group from July 2016 to July 2021. Earlier in the career, Jonathan held positions as 2nd Officer on a PSV-DP2 class ship at Bibby Ship Management and ARRC Commander at Vector Offshore Limited. Jonathan's education includes a Higher National Diploma in Computing from the University of Lincoln earned between 2000 and 2003, along with further training at South Shields from 2013 to 2014.
