Lisa Newberry has extensive experience in leadership and communication roles within various organizations. From January 2012 to December 2019, Lisa served as Assistant Director at Universities Wales. Lisa held the position of Deputy Director and Head of External Engagement and Development at Cardiff Metropolitan University from January 2020 to September 2022. Currently, Lisa is the Director at Collective Comms Cymru and holds the role of Senior Associate at Sgema, both since October 2022. Additionally, Lisa serves as Comms and Marketing for ScoutsCymru, starting in April 2025, and as a Volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer for RNLI since August 2024. Previous roles include facilitating the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" program for the Welsh Government and serving as a Policy Adviser for Higher Education Wales. Lisa has also contributed as a Mentor/Development Coach for The Prince's Trust from June 2006 to March 2024. Educational achievements include an MBA in Leadership from Cardiff Metropolitan University and various management qualifications from The Open University and the Chartered Management Institute.
