Mark Edwards

IT Service Desk Manager

Mark Edwards has extensive experience in IT management and support, currently serving as the IT Service Desk Manager at RNLI since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mark worked as an IT Specialist at Merlin Entertainments plc from 2017 to July 2022, providing IT support for corporate European sites. Mark's tenure at RNLI began in July 2001, where roles included IT Transition & Programme Support, IT Change Manager, and Senior IS / AV Technician, focusing on the maintenance and development of various simulators and AV support. Mark initiated an IT Helpdesk role providing 1st and 2nd line support. Mark holds degrees in Electronic Engineering from Poole College and Advanced Computer Programming and Applications from Bournemouth College.
