Nigel Morton

Nigel Morton has extensive experience in both military and civilian roles, primarily with the Royal Navy and the RNLI. Currently serving as Launch Authority, Shore Crew, Water Safety Officer, and Education Volunteer at RNLI since May 2012, Nigel also works as a Horticultural Therapist at Rakes Progress Blackford since August 2022. Nigel's military career spanned nearly 38 years, culminating in a role as South West Area Officer for the Marine Society and Sea Cadets, overseeing significant youth programs. Key past positions include Strategic HR Planner, Executive Assistant to various high-ranking officers, and teaching staff at the UK Defence Academy. Nigel holds multiple degrees, including a BSc in Microbiology and several advanced qualifications in Defence Studies, Strategic Management, and Teaching.
