Pete Geall

Pete Geall is a freelance writer and helicopter aircrew based in West Cornwall, known for their contributions to various international surf publications, including the Surfer's Journal and Tracks. With a deep passion for surfing, they have authored their first book, *West*, an anthology of Cornish surf writing published in 2024. Over 14 years, Pete has been actively involved in lifesaving, serving as a senior lifeguard in Cornwall, training lifeguards in Japan, and conducting aerial surveillance in Western Australia. They hold a BA(Hons) in Marketing from the University of Plymouth and have experience in digital marketing project management. Currently, Pete performs seasonal patrols and provides aerial surveillance along the coastline of South Western Australia.
