Peter Dawes

Peter Dawes serves as the General Manager of Lifeguard Operations at the RNLI, where responsibilities include overseeing the framework for the safe and effective delivery of the Lifeguard Service. With extensive experience in lifesaving services, Peter has held various roles at the RNLI, including Lifesaving Safety and Assurance Manager and Regional Operations Manager, focusing on safety management and operational expertise. Prior to the RNLI, Peter was the Operations Manager at Surf Life Saving Queensland, leading lifesaving services and maintaining quality assurance standards. Additional experience encompasses various positions within the leisure and community safety sectors, alongside significant educational qualifications, including an MBA and multiple diplomas in management, safety, and public health.
