Phoebe Chipchase serves as the International MEL Adviser at RNLI since March 2024. Prior experience includes working as a MEAL Coordinator (Emergencies) for ShelterBox from March 2022 to January 2025, where responsibilities encompassed emergency responses in Ukraine, Chad, Morocco, Gaza, and Grenada, as well as regional MEAL coordination for West and Central Africa, focusing on programs in Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and Cameroon. Previous roles at SPANA from January 2020 to March 2022 included Project and Strategy Officer, Project Support Officer, and Operations Coordinator. Phoebe also worked as an English Second Language Instructor at iTutorGroup and participated in the Charityworks Graduate Trainee program. Earlier experience includes teaching ESL at Hujiang. Phoebe holds a Master of Science in Global Ethics and Justice from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Nottingham.
