Ryan Newell

Ryan Newell is a skilled Nuclear and Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience at Rolls-Royce, where roles include Nuclear Mechanical Engineer focusing on micro reactor design, Innovation Engineer for novel hydrogen power systems, and Mechanical Design Engineer for gas turbine internal coatings and nuclear core design. Additional experience includes manufacturing engineering for nuclear primary components and significant involvement with RNLI as a Crew Member. Prior hands-on roles in marine engineering involved fabricating and welding for fishing vessels and managing engine repair and overhaul projects. Ryan holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and has contributed to achieving competitive success as Chief Mechanic for Queen’s Formula Racing.
