Sam Kennedy is an experienced aviation professional with a comprehensive background in aircraft maintenance and assurance management. Currently serving as the Independent Assurance Manager (Technical) and previously the Coastal In-Service Support Manager at the RNLI since February 2020, Sam has developed a strong foundation in quality assurance processes. From August 2011 to January 2019, Sam held the position of Scheduled Maintenance Manager at the Advanced Military Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Center (AMMROC), overseeing scheduled maintenance for the UAE Air Force's C-17 fleet. Sam's career began in the Royal Air Force, where from October 2002 to July 2011, roles included Mechanical Aircraft Engineer with expertise in various aircraft types, including C-17 and Tornado F-3, focusing on heavy rectifications and maintenance. Sam holds a qualification from the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering Cosford, completed between 2002 and 2004.
