Steven Pounder

Steven Pounder has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, beginning as an Apprentice Electrician at British Steel from September 1976 to February 1981. Following this apprenticeship, Steven worked at Northern Gas Networks from March 1981 to March 2016 as an E&I Senior Network Technician, where responsibilities included installing, modifying, and commissioning electrical systems and conducting inspections and testing in various environments. In addition, Steven has served as a Volunteer Lifeboat Operations Manager for the RNLI since November 1996, demonstrating a commitment to community service. Most recently, from July 2016 to March 2020, Steven held the position of EL 6 authorised person at Aughton Automation Limited before retirement. Steven's formal education concluded with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Hartlepool College of Further Education, completed in 1981.
