Thomas Coe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in naval architecture and safety management. Currently serving as the Whole Body Vibration, Noise and Ergonomics Manager at RNLI since February 2019, Thomas Coe focuses on mitigating risks to lifeboat crews through safety-related projects. Prior to this role, Thomas Coe was the High Speed Craft Development Manager at the Naval Design Partnering Team from 2011 to December 2018, overseeing a range of technical tasks related to small high-speed craft. Thomas Coe also worked as a Consultant Naval Architect at Frazer-Nash Consultancy until December 2018 and conducted postgraduate research at the University of Southampton from 2005 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in High Speed Craft Human Factors. Thomas Coe holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Ship Science from the University of Southampton, completed in 2005.
