Tim Doran

Tim Doran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water safety and lifeguard services, currently serving as a Water Safety Partner at RNLI since November 2020. This role focuses on creating impactful partnerships to enhance life-saving initiatives across the UK and Ireland. Previously, Tim held the position of Business & Policy Development Lead at RNLI, where leadership in managing risks and implementing change strategies was paramount. Prior to this, Tim took a career break for overseas travel and contributed to RNLI in various managerial roles from 2011 to 2019, including Area Lifesaving Manager North West Ireland and Lifeguard Manager Scotland. Tim's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and French from University College Dublin, a Post Graduate Diploma in Coastal Zone Management from Ulster University, and a Postgraduate Degree in Professional Leadership from Atlantic Technological University, complemented by an Associate Diploma in Communication Skills & Public Speaking from Trinity College London.
