Tom Knight

Tom Knight is an experienced educator and arts leader with over 20 years in the field. Currently serving as a Lifeboat Press Officer and ILB Crew member for the RNLI since September 2018, Tom upholds high professional standards in this volunteer role. As a self-employed individual since July 2018, Tom focuses on project design and leadership while remaining internationally minded and locally committed. Additionally, Tom holds the position of Director at Growing Together Cornwall CIC, dedicated to combating isolation and improving community well-being through gardening. Tom's extensive teaching experience includes roles at the International Baccalaureate, Western Academy of Beijing, Bishop Mackenzie International School, and C&T : Computers & Theatre, with specialties in drama and theatre. Tom is pursuing a Master of Arts in Professional Writing at Falmouth University and holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Birmingham City University, as well as bachelor's degrees in Education and Theatre Studies.
