Tom Mecrow

Tom Mecrow is a Senior International Evidence Manager at RNLI, where they ensure that the organization's drowning prevention efforts are grounded in robust evidence. Previously, they served as a Technical Advisor for UK Sport and held various roles at the RNLI, including International Programme Manager and Research Fellow, where they developed and implemented innovative drowning prevention projects across several countries. Tom has a strong background in public health and social justice, having worked extensively in South East Asia and Africa, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Loughborough University and a qualification in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
