Michael Montes

Michael Montes is a seasoned professional in the wind energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of Wind Sales at RNWBL since August 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Independent Wind Solutions, including Chief Development Officer and Operations Manager, from November 2019 to October 2023. Michael's experience also includes working as a Maintenance Repair Technician at AES between April 2017 and November 2019, specializing in wind turbine repair. Michael's military background includes serving in the U.S. Air Force from November 2014 to November 2019, where responsibilities included Production Superintendent, leading 250 personnel in aircraft maintenance and ensuring operational readiness. Michael holds an Associate's degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, completed in 2014.
