Jane Wrightson

Jane Wrightson is the current Retirement Commissioner at Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission, where they serve as Executive Chair and advocate for financial capability and retirement system policy development. With extensive governance experience, they have held former director roles at organizations such as the Digital Media Trust, Swimming NZ, and Netball NZ from 1999 to 2021. Jane also contributes as a Board Member at RNZ and has previously worked as Chief Censor of Films and Chief Executive of the Broadcasting Standards Authority. An accomplished professional, they were recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by Massey University and hold Bachelor's and MBA degrees with distinction.
