Matt Gardner

Matt Gardner is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in privacy and regulatory matters. Currently serving as Senior Privacy Counsel at Ro since October 2023, Gardner previously held pivotal roles at Meta as Associate General Counsel and Lead Counsel from April 2021 to October 2023. Prior to that, an Advisory Manager position at Deloitte was held from June 2019 to April 2021. Gardner's career also includes five years as a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from June 2014 to June 2019, and experience as a Student Attorney at the Wisconsin Innocence Project from May 2012 to May 2014. A former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from July 2003 to July 2007, Gardner earned a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2014.
