Will Walmsley

Will Walmsley currently serves as the Director of Machine Learning at Ro since October 2021 and is a Partner at Probably Studio, where contributions include machine learning, computer vision, generative and computational art, as well as community building and teaching. Previously, Will co-founded and served as CEO of Whirlscape Inc., a company focused on designing predictive messaging experiences that integrate machine learning with interaction design. Will's early career includes roles as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto and Queen's University, a researcher at The Hospital for Sick Children, a software developer at Riva Modeling Systems, and an engineering intern at Fraunhofer IML. Will holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
