Robert Cashell

Robert Cashell is a consultant at Cashell Consulting, where they specialize in corporate governance and internal audit. They previously served as managing director at Ryan Crowley Cashell from 2007 to 2012 and held the position of audit director at Ernst & Young from 1976 to 1994, overseeing diverse audits for multinational and listed companies. Additionally, Robert was head of internal audit at Smurfit Kappa from 1994 to 2004, where they established and managed the internal audit function globally. Robert is also active in various audit committees, including their roles with the Road Safety Authority and Table Tennis Ireland. They earned a Bachelor in Business Studies from Trinity College, Dublin and are an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
