Michael Ober has extensive experience in education, history, and outdoor leadership. Currently serving as a Field Instructor for Road Scholar since January 2016, Michael conducts guided excursions in Glacier Park. As a freelance writer since May 2015, contributions include editing and writing for various Montana publications. Previously, Michael managed library operations for Flathead Valley Community College from 1976 to 2015 and served as a seasonal ranger at Glacier National Park for 44 seasons. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library Science from the University of Denver and dual degrees in American History and Education from the University of Montana.
