Marcel van Dijk

Marcel van Dijk has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and consultancy. Marcel currently holds the position of VP Finance at Road since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Consultant at Cavala Consultancy BV from 2018. Marcel also served as the VP of Finance at Travix International from 2021 to 2023 and as the Finance Director at Travix Nederland B.V. from 2018 to 2021. Marcel has held interim positions as the Director Financial Control at VodafoneZiggo in 2018 and as the Director Mobile Business Planning at Liberty Global from 2015 to 2017. Marcel started their career as the Director Finance at Euronet Communications B.V. from 2012 to 2015. Marcel then moved on to T-Mobile Netherlands B.V., where they held various roles, including Director Financial Controlling from 2008 to 2012 and Vice President Accounting from 2002 to 2008. Before joining T-Mobile, Marcel worked as a Manager Financial Projects at UPC Nederland from 2000 to 2002. Marcel began their career as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1994 to 2000.

Marcel van Dijk attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1988 to 1994, where they studied Economics & Accountancy. Marcel then pursued post-graduate education for Dutch Chartered accountant (RA) from 1994 to 1998 at the same institution.
