Markus Hantschmann

Markus Hantschmann has had a varied and successful career. Markus is currently Co-Founder of roadIA GmbH, a company that brings AI to Road Safety for a Transition to Smart Cities. Prior to this, they were a Guest Lecturer at RWTH Aachen University and TU Berlin, a Development Manager and University Relations at ANSYS, Inc., a Machine Physicist at Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin, a Staff Research Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and a Teaching Assistant at TU Berlin.

Markus Hantschmann received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physik from Technische Universität Berlin in 2011, followed by their Master of Science (MSc) in Physik from the same institution in 2012. In 2014, they began their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physik at the University of Potsdam, which they are still pursuing. Prior to their academic career, Hantschmann obtained a certification in Qualität und Entwicklung in Praxen from TUV Rheinland in 2006.
