Joel Baxter

Joel Baxter is the current head of Technical Operations at Roadie. Joel has 7 years and 8 months of experience at Roadie Inc, where they started as a Junior Software Developer and eventually became the Head of Technical Operations. Prior to Roadie, Joel was a Senior Technical Consultant at Deloitte, where they worked on environment automation and enterprise infrastructure solutions. Joel also spent 9 months as the Director of Infrastructure & Operations at CrowdVested. Before that, Joel was a Senior Systems Engineer at InterContinental Hotels Group for 1 year and 8 months. Joel started their career as a Support Engineer / Systems Administrator at Hannon Hill Corporation, where they worked for 5 years and 2 months. Joel also has experience as a Network Technician, which they did for 2 years and 2 months at the University of West Georgia.

Joel Baxter attended Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 2007 to 2009, where they earned their BBA. Joel then went on to the University of West Georgia, where they majored in MIS and was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. After graduating from UWG in 2006, Joel obtained their Akamai Web Performance Certification from Akamai Technologies and their Chef Certification from Chef Software.
