John Yam has over 18 years of work experience in various roles. John began their career in 2001 as a Studio Assistant at Mark Gooch Commercial Photography. In 2004, they moved to Portico Birmingham as a Graphic Designer, where they designed article layouts, photo post processing, and production assistance to senior designer. In 2011, John Yam became the Owner, Designer, and Printmaker at Print & Promise, a design studio specializing in letterpress printing. In 2014, they were a Mobile Application Developer (Contract Position) at Farrago Comics, where they improved the app from MVP to official release with UI/UX updates. In 2015, they were a Sr. iOS Developer and Mobile Application Developer at Sports Connect, and a Teaching Assistant for the iOS cohort at The Iron Yard. Since 2019, they have been an iOS Developer at Roadie Inc.
