Mic Young has held several positions in the past decade. In 2007, they were an Apple expert at Best Buy. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the CEO of Men of Biz LLC. In 2012, they transitioned to Apple as a Technical Specialist. Most recently, they have been the Customer Service Support Manager at Roadie since 2019.

Mic Young attended Monroe Community College from 2001 to 2003, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Mic then attended Decker College from 2003 to 2005, also studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Finally, from 2004 to 2005, they attended American Intercontinental, studying Media Production.
