Cecil King

Cecil King has a strong background in hardware engineering and software development. Their most recent role was as a Web Application Developer (Test) at Roadmunk starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pixelworks from 2017 to 2020 as a Senior Engineer, Hardware. Before joining Pixelworks, Cecil was a Senior Engineer at ViXS Systems Inc. from 2010 to 2017, where they focused on ASIC design verification and debugging. Cecil also had previous roles as an Engineer in ASIC Engineering and as a System Verification Engineer at ViXS Systems Inc. overall showcasing their expertise in verification, testing and debugging of hardware designs.

Cecil King has a diverse education history. In 1999-2004, they attended the University of Toronto, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering. After that, from 2009 to 2012, Cecil pursued a certificate in Small Business Bookkeeping from Sheridan College. In 2014-2017, they attended The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University to receive a certificate in Computer Security and Digital Forensics. Recently, in 2020, Cecil pursued a Certificate in UofT SCS Coding Boot Camp from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. In addition to their formal education, Cecil has obtained several certifications, such as the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian and various Managing Jira Projects certifications from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2022.
