Stuart Cook

Stuart Cook is a seasoned civil engineering professional currently serving as Principal - Civil at BG&E's Brisbane Office since January 2011, where expertise lies in Design Management and overseeing projects valued up to $200M. In addition to the regional responsibilities as Regional Manager for the Gold Coast and Transport Lead for Queensland, Stuart has been an active member of Roads Australia since January 2020, holding the positions of Chair of the Future Leaders Committee and Future Leaders Council Member and Deputy Chair. Stuart's career commenced at the Department of Transport and Main Roads from January 2005 to December 2010, initially as a Civil Engineer and later as a Senior Civil Design Engineer, following a scholarship with DTMR and work experience starting in 2005. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Construction from Griffith University and completed education at Mount Saint Patrick's College from 1997 to 2003.
