Rainer Kuehling

Rainer Kuehling is the Chief Operating Officer at Roambee. Rainer has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints at Microsoft Corporation, Shoe Care Innovations Inc., WZL, and Kobe University.

Rainer began their career as a Technical Intern at the Nanjing Automation Research Institute in April 1998. Rainer then went on to study at Kobe University, where they worked as a Foreign Researcher in the Department of System Engineering. In May 1999, they moved to Germany to work as a Researcher at the WZL institute.

In January 2001, Rainer joined Microsoft Corporation as a Group Manager. Rainer was a senior member of Microsoft's IP Licensing team and helped to drive and close large IP licensing deals. In May 2010, they left Microsoft to become the VP of Operations at Shoe Care Innovations Inc. Rainer was responsible for Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and International Expansion. During their time at Shoe Care Innovations Inc., the company achieved triple digit growth every year.

In January 2013, Rainer joined Roambee as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the company's overall operations, including product development, sales and marketing, finance, and customer success.

Rainer Kuehling has a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Marketing from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (major: computer engineering) from RWTH Aachen University.

Rainer Kuehling reports to Sanjay Sharma, Chairman & CEO. Rainer Kuehling works with Santosh Takoor - VP, Global Sales, Customer Experience, & Service Delivery & MD, Europe, Edwin Winder - VP, Sales, Americas, and Sacha Uhlmann - VP, Product Engineering.
