Demetrius Simms has a diverse work experience ranging from writing roles to public relations and management positions. Demetrius started their career as a Visual/Assistant Manager at ZARA USA from July 2012 to December 2018, where they managed sales teams, handled closing procedures, and created schedules. In 2019, they worked at Williamson PR as a Junior Account Executive and later as a PR Coordinator, where they acquired assets, drafted press releases, maintained connections with editors, managed event timelines, and coordinated meetings. In 2020, they pursued freelance writing opportunities with Hearst Magazines, Complex Networks, and Insider, writing for various publications. Since March 2021, they have been working as a Digital Staff Writer at Robb Report.
