Emily Williams

Emily Williams is a Sustainability and Innovation Partnerships Leader at TC Transcontinental since July 2021, specializing in circularity for packaging. Emily is an active member of the Emerging Leaders Committee and serves as Vice Chair for the Sustainability and Advocacy subcommittee with the Flexible Packaging Association. Prior experience includes serving as Global Growth Platform Leader for Circular Economy at Michelman, where expertise focused on compostable coatings and product development in the Printing and Packaging sector. Earlier roles involved scientific research at Applied Biomimetic Inc on aquaporin membrane technology, and academic positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati and Auburn University, respectively. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
