Josh Ball

Josh Ball is a seasoned professional in the field of packaging innovation and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Innovation & Sustainability Platforms at TC Transcontinental since August 2023. In this role, Josh leads the development of new platform technologies with a focus on recyclable, compostable, and PCR-containing packaging solutions. Prior to this position, Josh held the role of Product Innovation Manager at TC Transcontinental Packaging from May 2018 to August 2023, where efforts centered on long-term customer-focused innovation projects. Josh's earlier experience includes Product Innovation Manager at Coveris, Product Development Engineer at Coveris Group, and Process Engineer at Berry Plastics, where responsibilities ranged from material qualifications to production efficiency. Additionally, Josh interned in the Materials Technology group at Alcan Packaging, focusing on sustainability and new material evaluation. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned in 2009.
