Barett Byrd

Barett Byrd brings 40 years of combined military and business experience to RG. Prior to joining RG, Barett was Director of Business Development for Bowhead Manufacturing and Products Group, part of the Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) family of companies. Previously, he held positions as the EVP and COO of a professional services and program management company supporting DoD and commercial clients worldwide.

As a United States Marine, Barett served in both the enlisted and officer ranks achieving the rank of Colonel. He held several senior positions to including the J3 Operations Directorate at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, command as Inspector-Instructor 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Manpower Management Headquarters Marine Corps, Professor at the National Defense University – Industrial College of the Armed Forces (now Eisenhower School), Multi-National Force – Iraq J3 Future Operations and senior military advisor to the Iraq Ministry of Interior (Operations).

Barett has a M.A. in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University (now Glenn School) where he concurrently served (LtCol) as a visiting scholar/Fellow at the Mershon Center for International Security and Public Policy. He holds a B.S.A. in Economics from the University of Arkansas.
