Ken Anderson has had a varied and successful career in engineering. Ken began their career in 2002 as an RF Design Engineer (co-op) at Vecima Networks. In 2004, they moved to Nortel Networks and Flextronics as an RF Test Engineer. In 2010, they were the Electrical Team Lead for Team Canada Solar Decathlon 2011. That same year, they were also a Teaching Assistant at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. In 2011, they worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Stantec. In 2012, they joined Opener as the Electrical Engineering Lead, where they designed an advanced high power field-oriented control (FOC) brushless, sensorless DC motor controller and battery management system. In 2020, they became the VP Engineering at Robbox®.
Ken Anderson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Victoria from 1998 to 2003. Ken then went on to obtain a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary from 2009 to 2013. In 2009, they also obtained their P.Eng. Certification from APEGGA.
