Rui Li is the co-founder and CEO of Robby Technologies, a leading startup that builds self-driving robots for last-mile delivery of food, groceries, and packages. Prior to founding Robby Technologies, Li was a graduate research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they completed their PhD in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. While at MIT, Li also founded and served as co-president of the MIT-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (MIT-CHIEF), a nonprofit that provides a high-level platform for international collaboration in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Under Li's leadership, the organization ran various high-profile events that attracted thousands of attendees and helped startups raise a total of 100+ millions dollars in funding.
Rui Li has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), with a focus in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Rui Li also has a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), with a focus in Robotics and Image Processing. Rui Li has also completed an International Student Exchange Program at the Royal Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering.
