Roman Hölzl is a co-founder and CEO of RobCo, where efforts focus on utilizing robotics to address labor shortages through a patented modular robotics platform. With experience as a robotics PhD candidate at the Technical University of Munich, Roman published three papers and led a lab course in Robotics & AI. Previous roles include prototyping and human-robot interaction at KUKA, business development for the Tesla Model S, and competing as a sponsored athlete in freestyle skiing with the Rossignol Group. Roman holds multiple degrees, including an M.Sc. in Engineering with a focus on Human Factors Engineering (with Distinction) from the Technical University of Munich, an M.Sc. in Human-Machine Interaction from Harvard University, and an Honors Degree in Technology Management (with Distinction) from the Center for Digital Technology and Management.
