Daniel Ernst has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Daniel currently holds the position of Senior Investment Analyst, Global Trends at Robeco since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Analyst and Advisor at Purchase Park Capital from June 2018 to September 2020.

Before joining Purchase Park Capital, Daniel worked as a Senior Analyst at Welch Capital Partners from April 2015 to January 2018. Daniel gained extensive experience as a Principal at Hudson Square Research, where they worked from August 2004 to April 2015.

Daniel also held the role of Director of Research at Rodman & Renshaw from 2002 to 2004. Daniel began their career as an Analyst at Legg Mason from March 2000 to June 2001, and prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at Ferris Baker Watts from 1999 to 2000.

Before transitioning into the financial industry, Daniel worked as a Director at Strategis Group from 1994 to 1999. Daniel began their professional journey as a Research Analyst at U.S. News & World Report in 1993.

Daniel Ernst has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics, which they obtained from The George Washington University from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to their academic degrees, Daniel Ernst has obtained several certifications. Daniel obtained the "Principles of Sustainable Finance" certification from Erasmus University Rotterdam in July 2020. In February 2020, they acquired the "FSA Credential" from the SASB - Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. In August 2018, they obtained the certification for "Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility in Scandinavia" from the Copenhagen Business School. In May 2018, they completed the "USSIF Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment" certification from the US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment. Lastly, in January 2009, they obtained the "Series 65" certification from FINRA.
